Welcome to the Coalition for Enhanced Marine Resources website. Our mission is to encourage the development, use and enjoyment of artificial reefs in California.

Artificial reefs are thriving marine habitats.  In California, some of the top artificial reefs are found at offshore drilling platforms, home to millions of fish, invertebrates and other marine creatures.
With the decommissioning of many of these platforms quickly approaching, CEMR will continue to work with others concerned about protecting and enhancing marine resources to preserve the underwater portion of these rigs in order to save the marine life that thrives there today.
